The Delavan-Darien School Board seeks a community member to fill a vacancy and serve as a school board appointee.
As all board seats are at large, applicants must reside within district boundaries. The appointed seat will be up for election in April 2019.
Submit a letter of interest, including statements about what qualities you will bring to the board, the issues you believe the district is facing and how you propose to address those issues. The District’s Board of Education will review letters to determine who will be interviewed.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that at an election to be held in the School District of Delavan-Darien on Tuesday, April 2, 2019, the following offices are to be elected to succeed the present incumbents listed. The term of office for a school board member is three years beginning on Monday, April 22, 2019 unless noted below.
School Board Member – Two (2) Positions, (3 yr. term)
To Succeed Present Incumbents – Sharon Gonzalez, John Andreoni
School Board Member – One (1) Position, (2 yr. term)
To Succeed Present Incumbent – Monica Los
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN, that a Campaign Registration Statement and a Declaration of Candidacy, must be filed no later than 5:00 p.m., on Wednesday, January 2, 2019, in the office of the school district clerk (324 Beloit St).
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN, that if a primary is necessary, the primary will be held on Tuesday, February 19, 2019.
A description of the school district boundaries can be obtained from the school district office.
Acceptable Photo ID will be required to vote at this election. If you do not have a photo ID you may obtain a free ID for voting from the Division of Motor Vehicles.
