For the second year in a row, DDSD leads the area in its State Report Card score. This year, the district moved to the highest recognition ~ Significantly
Exceeds Expectations with a score of 83.6 up from 82.3 from last year.
Phoenix Middle School also received the recognition of Significantly Exceeds Expectations with a score of 85.2 and is ranked 22nd in the state for all middle schools.
The high school also improved to Meets Expectations with a score of 70.1 up from 62.7 from last year. DDHS outperformed the following high schools: Elkhorn (at 68.8), Big Foot (at 67.1), Whitewater (at 66.8), Lake Geneva Badger (at 66.5) and Waterford (at 69.1).
