Winter Music Concert!
The Phoenix Band, Choir & Orchestra will be presenting their Winter Concert on Thursday, January 17, 2019.
Where: Phoenix Middle School Gym
When: 5th/6th Grade – 5:30 PM (arrive at 5:15 PM)
7th Grade – 6:45 PM (arrive at 6:30 PM)
8th Grade – 8:00 PM (arrive at 7:45 PM)
• Dress is black on the bottom, white on top. Guys in ties.
• This is a required performance and will be graded.
• Remember to invite your family and friends!
7th Grade families are asked to park in the back of the school to help with traffic flow! Thanks!
Attention 8th Graders:
Your golden tickets are due on Thursday, January 17th. You MUST have a parent/guardian signature on your golden ticket.
If you need a blue folder from Freshmen Welcome Night, please come talk to Mrs.Frommgen or Mrs. SK in Student Services.
Mrs.Frommgen & Mrs. SK will be available to help with golden tickets and hand out blue folders during your lunch & recess time on Wednesday & Thursday in the FACE room. You MUST bring your golden ticket with you to lunch in order to leave the lunch room.
Attention 7th Grade Band:
Starting Wednesday January 9, we will meet together as a FULL BAND at 7:30 in place of your Homeroom or PIE time. We will rehearse as a FULL BAND on B Days. Our A Day groups will remain the same.
Thursday January 17 – Full Band at 7:30

Snow Rules/Expectations:
At PX we do not permit throwing of snow and snowball fights are prohibited. This applies before, after school and during recess. Supervisors are asked to inform students about these rules.
Snow is one of the true joys about WI winter. During lunch we do permit students to play in the snow, as long as they are not throwing it. However, they are to brush off any snow prior to re-entry. If they get wet due to playing in the snow, we do not call home. If they wish to stay dry they are to remain on the black top.
We do stay outside before school and at lunch recess as long as the “feel like” temperature is at zero or above with the wind chill. If it is too icy outside or below zero we will follow rain day protocols.
Tardy Consequences
Students, please review the tardy policy. There was a mistake in the previous information. On the 8th Tardy, you are required to serve In School Suspension.
1st Tardy: Nothing
2nd Tardy: Email from Mrs. Zahn to the student
3rd Tardy: 30 Minute Detention AFTER SCHOOL
4th Tardy: 30 Minute Detention AFTER SCHOOL
5th Tardy: 45 Minute Detention AFTER SCHOOL
6th Tardy: 45 Minute Detention AFTER SCHOOL
7th Tardy: 90 Minute Detention AFTER SCHOOL
8th Tardy: In School Suspension
9th Tardy: Citation (Ticket) from the Police Department
