DDHS Operation Click Safety Week (October 24-28) Dress up Days! Monday: Wear Favorite Sports Jersey/ Tuesday: Dress Like a Superhero/ Wednesday: Western Day/ Thursday: Hawaiian Day/ Friday: Blue Day. There will be other fun festivities during the week, more information to come.
Permission slips will be available in the Athletic Office for a fan bus to Pewaukee for the football game Friday evening. Permission slips are due back by noon on Friday. Bus will leave at 5:15 from DDHS. The cost is $10 and covers the cost of ticket and bus ride.
Volunteer Opportunity: Holton Manner is looking for volunteers to come interact with residents in the evenings or on the weekends. Activities you might do with a resident could include Bingo, playing cards, or even just talking. If you are interested, please contact Terry, the Holton Manner Activity Director, at 723-4963
DDHS Community Service: There are four community service opportunities on the DAYS Foundation website. If you’re interested sign up online or you can talk to Mr. Alter.
Tuesday, October 25 there will be a mandatory meeting for all athletes that intend to participate in a winter sport. The meeting will take place in the auditorium at 6:00 pm. Any athlete that was NOT in a fall sport or is new to DDHS must attend the general session at 6:00 pm. All others must attend the meeting specific to their chosen sport at 6:30 pm.
A Representative from Gateway Technical College, Elkhorn, WI will be visiting DDHS on Wednesday, October 26th from 12:45 – 1:45 in the DDHS library. Please stop in to Student Services to sign up.
A Representative from U.W. Oshkosh, Oshkosh WI will be visiting DDHS on Thursday, October 27th from 9:00 -10:00 in the Student Services conference room.
A Representative from UW Milwaukee, Milwaukee WI will be visiting DDHS on Thursday, October 27th from 1:00 – 2:00 in the Student Services Conference Room.
A Representative from Northern Michigan University Marquette – Michigan will be visiting DDHS on Tuesday, November 1st from 8:30-9:30 in the Student Services conference room.
A Representative from UW Parkside, Kenosha, WI will be visiting DDHS on Tuesday, November 1st from 9:30 – 10:30 in the Student Services conference room.
Please mark your calendars for Tuesday, November 1 for the Fall Sports Awards night. If you participated in a fall sport this is the evening we devote to celebrating your season. We begin in the auditorium at 6:00 pm and break out into sport specific sessions after.

Juniors & Seniors: The Free Application for Federal Student Aid offers more than $150 billion each year in grants, loans, and work study funds for college or career school. Attention All Students and Staff: Goodwill’s Fall Haul Donation Challenge begins Tuesday, November 1 – Wednesday, November 30. We are looking for gently used items to donate to our local Goodwill. Donations can be dropped off in the AP Office or taken directly to our local Goodwill. If you will be dropping off your times directly, please make sure you fill out a Fall Haul Donation Slip at Goodwill (by completing this form our school gets credit for the donations). The 1st place school wins Free Live Performance and a $500 Visa gift card and 2nd & 3rd place win a $500 Visa Gift Card. This is an amazing opportunity to get our students, staff and community involved.
