Support your DDHS Boys’ Basketball Teams and the DDHS Comet Care Center on Monday, February 11th! Come watch the DDHS Comets take on the Fort Atkinson Blackhawks! Donate any of the items listed to fill up the shelves in the DDHS Comet Care Center and receive free entry to the game to enjoy the entertainment of watching the boys’ teams compete against Fort Atkinson! Also receive a raffle ticket for a gift card drawing at half time of the Varsity game for! All goods collected are donated to the DDHS Comet Care Center! The more you bring, the more raffle tickets you will receive! *Paper Towels – 2 rolls minimum *Pack of Toilet Paper *Kleenex Box(es) *Disinfecting Wipes *Cleaning Products. All products are for donation to the DDHS Comet Care Center. The Comet Care Center is a resource center housed in the high school to provide items to those students who have an essential need that perhaps their family cannot afford or provide, typically due to financial hardship. The student services personnel work with the students to determine eligibility for resources. Watch for the DDHS Boys Basketball community collection drive to support the DDHS Comet Care Center to start this week! Thank you for your support!
Attention All Juniors: All Juniors will be filling in pre-test information for the ACT on Tuesday, February 12th. Students with last name beginning with A-L will report to the Large Group Room for 3rd through 4th period. Students with last names beginning M-Z will report to the Large Group Room for 6th through 7th period.
Attention All Students: If you have study hall in the large group room for 3rd, 4th, 6th and 7th period, you will report to Quad 151 for your study hall on Tuesday, February 12th. Students will not be allowed into the Large Group Room during those periods (3, 4, 6 and 7) on Tuesday. All other periods (1, 2, 5 and 8) study halls will continue to operate in the large group room.

Who Has a Crush on You? Valentine’s Day Carnation/Crush Sale: For $2 you can get a carnation for your friend or sweetheart and for an additional $1 you can add a crush for your crush. Make someone very happy or at least embarrass the heck out of them in front of the whole class! Members of the choir will be taking pre-orders for the flowers during the lunch periods on Tuesday, Feb. 12th – Wednesday, Feb. 13th. Your gift will be delivered on Thursday, Feb. 14th, Valentine’s day.
Attention Students: Delavan-Darien High School is hosting a Career/Job Fair on Friday, February 15th from 8:00-10:00 am. Students will have an opportunity to inquire about a variety of careers and possible job openings during this time. Attention Boys Grades 9-12: There will be Free Learn-To-Play Clinics for the Elkhorn Lacrosse Club on Saturday(s), Feb. 9th, 16th, and 23rd at Elkhorn High School Agility Center from 6PM-8PM. Attention Students: Start College Now and Early College Credit Program (application deadline March 1st) Sophomores, Juniors, or Seniors interested in taking college class at one of our nearby technical colleges or university during the Spring of 2019 need to complete an application by March 1, 2019.. Please make an appointment with your counselor to learn about the criteria for this opportunity and to receive an application.
Community Service Opportunity: Delavan Train Show are in need of volunteers for Saturday, March 9th from 8am-4pm and Sunday, March 10th from 9am-4pm. The volunteers will be greeting visitors, hole punch visitors cards, and answer questions about the show.
