Announcements:
This year at DDHS we are continuing the tradition of student of the month. Each month students are nominated by staff in the building for going above and beyond the comet code. Two students of the month were chosen in October – Tamika Robinson and Monse Ruvalcaba. Tamika took on the task of making hall passes for all of the teachers at the high school. She got the material, designed them, Laser Engraved them, sanded, Polyurethaned them and delivered them – mostly on her own time. Monse demonstrates what a student should do daily in class from completing daily warm ups, taking great notes, to working well in groups and helping others around her. She has even stayed after school for up to an hour to help other students.
