Student Council Meeting

New Books in the Library
It’s here! The latest “Diary of a Wimpy Kid” – “Double Down”! Be one of the first to check it out. Just make sure you do not have any overdues next week, then put your name in the basket for the drawing. We have 5 copies here in the library ready for checkout. The 5 names will be drawn at the end of the day on Friday, November 18 and winners will be notified on Monday, November 21. If you are a winner, please return the book quickly so others can check it out.
Fundraiser Announcement
Pinnacle will be in the cafeteria this morning (Friday) morning to collect the QSA (quick start award) forms from students to have them completed prior to the start of the school day!
Orchestra Students:
The All District Orchestra Concert is TONIGHT at DDHS. Make sure you take home your instrument and music today because the concert is at the high school.

8th Grade Band & Orchestra students:
Report to your first class for attendance Friday morning, then go to Mrs. Bayerl & Mr. Butzow at 7:35 AM to set up for your Veteran’s Day performance.
Fitness Center
The Fitness Center is open Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 3-4pm. You must be in your gym uniform or comfortable school appropriate exercise clothing. Make sure you get permission from your parents to stay after school.
6th Grade Math Help
Attention 6th graders! Mrs. Perez and Mr. Stallings will be offering after school tutoring on Tuesdays and Thursday’s from 3-4 pm. If you need extra help with your math, or just a quiet place to complete your homework, this is the place for you! If you are planning on staying, your ride must be here by 4:00 pm. Hope to see you there!
The Snack Shack
The Snack Shack will be open every Wednesday in the lobby after school! Come buy a snack after school and support the Peer Helpers! Cost: $1 Soda, $1 Candy Bars, $.50 Chips
