Announcements:                                                                          

Students, be advised that the electronic device policy is going to change for 2nd semester as follows: Electronic Device Policy for 2nd Semester

* 1st violation – item will be turned into the office & returned at the end of the day

* 2nd violation – item will be into the office and a parent must pick up the item

* 3rd violation – item will be turned into the office and an administrator will call the parent and the student will receive an ISS the following school day.  Student may take the item home at the end of the day

* 4th and subsequent violation – item will be turned over to the office and an administrator will call the parent and the student will receive an ISS the following school day.  A parent must pick up the item.

2nd SEMESTER SCHEDULE CHANGES: Schedule changes WILL NOT be allowed once 2nd semester begins.  If you are considering a 2nd semester schedule change, please see your counselor before the holiday break.

2nd SEMESTER HOMEROOM CHANGES: Students, be advised that we will be changing homeroom second semester.  We will not have homeroom Monday – Thursday.  We will, however, keep homeroom on Friday’s.  Homeroom will be 30 minutes long, Friday’s only.

Volunteer Opportunity: Waffles with Santa on December 10, 2016.  We are looking for students to help serve a waffle breakfast to the community. Location is:  Lakeland School- on County NN in Elkhorn. The time is:  7:30 a.m. – 8:00 a.m. volunteers eat a delicious waffle breakfast. Work 8:00 a.m. thru 12 noon- 4 hours serving and helping FOLS (Friends of Lakeland School) as needed to produce the breakfast.

Volunteer Opportunity: Turtle Creek is looking for students to babysit during the PTO meeting December 13th from 5:15-6:30. Sign up in Student Services.

Volunteer Opportunity: Need community service hours? The PBIS/Comet Code team is hosting a bake sale during the basketball games on Friday, December 16 to raise money for your semester prizes. Workers can get between 1 and 4 community service hours for singing up to work the bake sale and helping out our school. If you are interested, please sign up in Student Services by Wednesday, December 14.

Volunteer Opportunity: Volunteer to Bell Ring for the Salvation Army. If interested, please call (262) 215-7768.

Attention All Students: Students wishing to purchase tickets for the Sadie Hawkins Dance, or even Prom, will need to have their student fees paid in-full prior to attending.  Please plan accordingly so you’re able to attend these extra-curricular activities.
