Southern Lakes Anthology
Students are to turn in their submissions to Southern Lakes Anthology with the entry form by Friday, December 16. Your teachers have the form and some are also in the office. When you are done return it to your teacher.
Candy Grams
Student Council will be selling CandyGrams all next week in the cafeteria during lunch time. They will be $1 each and will be delivered on Dec. 21st & 22nd. If you are interested in purchasing a CandyGram for a friend, teacher, or special someone, please do so next week. The table will be set up in front of the cafeteria. You will need to know their name and first academic hour teacher to fill out the form so that we can get them delivered properly. You must have the money with you when purchasing your CandyGrams.
Lost & Found
We have a “mountain” of clothing on our Lost & Found table in the cafeteria! STUDENTS: Please look at the table when you are in the lunch room! If something is yours, take it home! We will be donating the unclaimed Lost & Found items to charity over Christmas break! PARENTS: You are more than welcome to come to school and look at the items on the table. There are MANY winter coats there. If your child is missing an item, please come in and see if your items are there before we give them to Good Will during break!
Morning Drop-off Procedure
Students are to be dropped off at the back of the building every morning. If you are dropped off in front of school, you are to walk around and enter through the back playground doors. Students may enter through the front doors after 7:30 am. Thank you.
From the Kitchen …
Students: There have been too many kids coming through the lunch line knowing they don’t have money. If you have been told not to come through the line if you don’t have money in your account, please don’t come through the lunch line! No excuses! This means we have been warning you for the past 3-4 days. It’s time to take responsibility for yourselves as Jr. High students!
Cold Weather
Students! The cold weather is upon us! Believe it or not, we still have MANY students who think it is ok to not wear a coat! Be sure to bring your jackets, hats, gloves and anything else you may need to stay warm outside with you to your lunch period. When lunch is done, you are not allowed to be in the hallways and/or your lockers. Bring those items with you to the cafeteria when lunch begins.
