For the third time, Phoenix Middle School is once again hosting an all-you-can eat soup extravaganza.
This year, the school’s Empty Bowls event will benefit the Boys & Girls Club of Walworth County, which is housed in Phoenix Middle School and serves local students.
The event is scheduled for 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, March 21, at the Phoenix Middle School cafeteria, 414 Beloit St., Delavan.
Diners receive a unique, hand-crafted bowl and a soup supper for a minimum donation of 5 per person. Pay at the door upon arrival.
The unique bowls come in a variety of shapes, sizes and colors.
Soups and all the “fixins” are provided by the Phoenix Middle School staff chefs, volunteering families and area restaurants.
There will also be a silent auction with many great items donated by area businesses and families, including gift baskets, sports memorabilia, gift certificates and more.
Phoenix Middle School student musicians who performed in the Wisconsin Solo and Ensemble Festival will provide entertainment. Musicians will include wind, percussion, piano, and strings players, along with choral singers.
