The rules to attend the party are simple… Don’t have any major or minor school rules violations and you’re invited!
So was the case for many Darien Elementary School students on Friday, March 3.
The school held a popcorn and socializing party for students who avoided disciplinary-related trips to the office (major violations) and similar talks with their teachers (minor).
The students came to celebrate in pairs of classrooms and Superintendent Robert Crist and Director of Instruction Deb Erdmann were on hand to congratulate the many students for their positive behaviors.
“You’re all faced with choices to make every day,” Superintendent Crist told the students. “Sometimes, those choices are difficult or unpopular, but it’s important to always make the right choice.
The students in today’s photo gallery have proven time and time again that they can make the right choices day in and day out! Congratulations fourth and fifth graders, on following the Comet Code all the time! #DDCometProud
