YEARBOOKS! Please Read!
Yearbooks are being handed out early so that you will have time to sign books before the school year ends.
It is appropriate to have books out during lunch, before school and after school. It is NOT appropriate to have books out during class or PIE without teacher permission. If you disrupt the learning environment with your yearbook, your book will be taken away and given back at the end of that day. If it continues to be a problem your book will be taken and given back at the end of the last day of school.
When signing yearbooks please be respectful. If you put inappropriate things in someone’s book, you will be required to buy that person a new book at the cost of $35.00.
Your name has been placed inside the front cover of your book. Please keep track of your book and enjoy the memories.
If you think that you have purchased a book and do not receive one, please see Ms. Enger! Any extra books will be sold on a first come, first served basis.
Today 8th graders will get yearbooks during the lunch period.
7th and 6th graders will get them Friday during lunch.
Yearbooks can only be out when teachers allow and/or during lunch time.

Library Update
We have 2 classes that are the first to return all of their library books. Mrs. Keiser and Ms. Andersen’s Period 3/4. Congratulations! Remember, your class can still have the least overdues. That challenge ends Friday, June 2.
Bookmobile
The bookmobile is expanding to the middle school this year. Brochures and permission slips were passed out during your language arts classes. If you cannot find yours, extras are available in the library–just ask Mrs. Huff nicely. Permission slips must be returned to your language arts teacher by June 1, if you want to walk out to the bookmobile on June 1 to select your first book during language arts class. The bookmobile will make six stops in Delavan and Darien each Thursday afternoon during the summer, except for the week of July Fourth. When you check out a book, you will also get lunch and a popsicle. Happy Reading! Don’t forget to turn your permission slips into your language arts teachers by June 1!
Summer School Program
