DDHS Home Football Games
We at DDHS encourage Phoenix Middle School students to attend the home football games at Borg Memorial Stadium with the understanding that they are attending to watch the game and will remain in the bleacher section throughout the game.
Students will not be allowed entrance to the facility without having a parent in attendance.
Practice with the DDHS Cross Country Team!
The high school cross country team would like to invite middle school students to join them to increase interest in running and fitness. This would be a good opportunity for students who:
• enjoy running
• want to get involved in sports or improve fitness
• prepare for a winter sport
• would benefit from positive role models
The students would practice with the high school team on a daily basis and be invited to come to meets to support the team. If interested, please send an e-mail to cboehm@ddschools.org

This week’s answer to our Hispanic Heritage Month trivia was Celia Cruz. The winner is Antonio Rivera in 7th grade. We did have a right answer with no name, so please remember to write your name and grade with the answer! Here’s the third trivia question:
Who is the Puerto Rican baseball player that was the first Latin American inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame?
