6th Grade Tutoring:
After School Tutoring: Attention 6th graders. Are you in need of a little extra math help. Or, do you just need a quiet place to get your homework completed. If you answered yes to either of these questions, then Mrs. Perez and Mr. Stallings are here to help. Starting this week, they will be providing after school tutoring in their rooms from 3-4 p.m., on Monday’s and Thursday’s. Monday is in Mr. Stallings room (163) and Thursday’s are in Mrs. Perez’s room (162). In order to attend, you need to have your ride pick you up by 4, or be able to walk home. Hope to see you there.
DDHS Volleyball – Spooktacular Clinic!
A breakdown of techniques and strategies coupled by fun and music! We will bring the FUN in “fun”damentals with drills and games. This clinic will include a T-Shirt and a Halloween treat. For more information stop by the front office.

NEWSPAPER CLUB MEETS THURSDAY – NEW MEMBERS WELCOME!
The Phoenix Rising Newspaper Club will meet at 2:50 p.m. Thursday (Oct. 19) in the library. The meeting will be done by 3:50 p.m. Please have your parent or guardian permission and have arrangements to have a ride home. New members are welcome – come and find out how to have your “voice” heard! There are many options! If you are interested in the club, but cannot attend the meeting, contact the advisor, Mr. Thom Aiello, at thomaiello@gmail.com
Lifetouch Picture Re-take Day
TODAY, Wednesday, October 18th, is picture re-take day. You must meet one of the following qualifications in order to have your picture taken:
- You were absent on the first picture day (9/8/2017)
- You are a new student that started after 9/8/2017.
- Your parent paid for a picture packet and was unhappy with the pictures. You MUST bring in the picture packet you are returning in order to have your picture taken.
You may NOT have your picture retaken if you are unhappy with your student ID picture. If you are unhappy with your ID and want your picture retaken, you must bring in an order form and money to purchase a packet. Also, if you did not purchase a picture packet the first time around and would like to purchase photos, you may contact Lifetouch to purchase a packet using your existing photo OR you may bring in an order form on re-take day and have your picture taken again.
If you would like an order form for pictures, please stop in the office and we will give you one!
