Announcements:

Attention Juniors & Seniors: An Admissions Representative from U.S. Marines will be visiting D.D.H.S. on Monday, March 19 from 10:50 – 12:15 in the Student Services conference room. Please stop in to Student Services to sign up. You must have your teacher’s permission to attend. *Please note that the Student Services conference room in now Room #121

Attention all students:  Prom is coming up quickly!  It will be held on Saturday, March 24 from 7-11pm at the Riviera Ballroom in Lake Geneva.  Grand March will be at 7:30 pm and is open to family and friends. Tickets will be sold during lunch in the school store.  Tickets will not be sold at the door at prom. Students must have all fees and fines paid and overdue library books must be turned in.  Please see Ms. Jordan if you have any questions.

Attention Students: The AP Exam ordering window is open. All students planning to take an AP Exam this school year must order the exam by 3:00 PM on March 23, 2018. The 2018 AP Exam fee is $94.00. Order sheets are available in Student Services, The AP Office, and the AP classrooms. Please submit your completed order with payment to Mrs. Jasso in the AP Office.

Attention All Students: The deadline to order a yearbook has been extended to 3/9/2018. To order a yearbook go to ybpay.lifetouch.com. our yearbook ID is 13348418. You must pay at the same time that you order. If you have any questions pertaining to yearbook orders, please direct them to Ms. Norton. Her email is knorton@ddschools.org.

Attention Students: DDHS Annual Blood Drive:  Student Council is hosting our annual Blood Drive on Thursday, March 8th from 8am to 1pm in the East Gym.  Students that are 17 years old or older are eligible to donate. Students that are 16 years old must have a signed parent consent form in order to donate.  Refreshments will be provided and donors will also receive a ticket voucher for a future Milwaukee Admirals hockey game! Students must have schedule an appointment and bring a valid photo ID. Attention: Announcing Moby Dick The Musical March 9th and 10th at 7pm and March 11th at 2pm. Musical Theater International proclaims: “Cult hit, Moby Dick! The Musical, is a giant over-the-top retelling of the classic novel…This goofy romp does to Herman Melville what The Rocky Horror Show does to midnight horror movies!” Get your tickets at the door or in advance from the Athletic office $8 for adults and $5 for students and seniors. It will be general seating this year so get here early to claim your seat.

Attention Students: Community Service Hours Available at the Delavan Historical Society, 635 E Wisconsin St., Delavan. Please Contact Ms. Sandy Behn at 262-215-0311 to set up an appointment time to work. Please have your Community Service Form with you when you arrive at the Historical Society.

Attention Students: Community Service Opportunity! The Delavan Train Show is looking for volunteers. You would greet visitors, answer questions about the train show and the city, hole punch visitors cards, and other various tasks. Dates: Saturday, March 10 from 8am-4pm and Sunday, March 11th from 9am-4pm.Sign up in Student Services.

Attention Students: Community Service Opportunity!: Community Service Opportunity!: The Delavan Lions Club is in need of help at its Sunday, March 11 Corned Beef & Cabbage Dinner fundraiser at The Village Supper Club on South Shore Drive. 4-hour shifts are available. Duties include bussing tables, coffee/milk/water service, etc. The Lions Club awards 4, $1,000 scholarships each year and volunteering for the club is considered very helpful/beneficial when it comes to applying for scholarships. Attention 9-11th Graders: You and your family are encouraged to attend a Preparing for College Workshop, Monday March 12th , 6:00-7:15 PM in the D-DHS Auditorium.  During this event you will learn: projected future college costs, the basics of financial aid, academic strategies to best prepare you for college, ways to make you stand out during the admissions process, and financial tips for parents and students.

Attention Juniors:  American Legion Auxiliary Badger Girls State Applications are now available in the office of Student Services.  All girls with a strong interest in leadership, character, and fitness are encouraged to apply. Badger Girls State is hosted by the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh from June 17-22, 2018.  Selection will be determined by a panel with representation from D-DHS and the American Legion Auxiliary. Two students will be selected along with two alternates. Applications are due Monday, March 12th by the end of the school day submitted directly to the Student Services Office.  More information can be found at: http://www.badgergirlsstate.org/
