Attention Students: ALPINE VALLEY MUSIC THEATRE will be here this Friday, May, 4th. Adam Borosch will be in the cafeteria during lunch to talk to students about employment opportunities this summer at Alpine Valley. LIBRARY – The final due date for student library books this school year is Friday, May 25. The last day for book check-out is May 23. Please make every effort to return your books as the end of the school year approaches. Any materials (library books and textbooks) that are not returned will be added to your student account and fines will follow you through graduation. In addition, please remember that when you turn in your Chromebooks, the Chromebook, case and charger will be collected. If you have questions, feel free to stop by the Learning Commons between 7:00 am and 3:30 pm.

2018-2019 10th and 11th Graders, Next year we will again have the PSAT/NMSQT Test. This stands for Pre-SAT/National Merit Scholarship Corporation. By taking this test you can see if you qualify for any National Merit Scholarships, your college readiness, estimated SAT score and academic strengths/weaknesses. This a great opportunity to practice standardized tests in order to prepare for the ACT and/or SAT.
Only Juniors are eligible for the National Merit Scholarship. The test date is October 10th, 2018. The cost for the test is $16. If you are a junior on free/reduced lunch you are eligible for a fee waiver (first come first serve basis). If you are interested in taking the test please sign up in Student Services. No need to pay yet, I just want to see how many are interested. The sign up will remain open until September 10th, 2018. You may also grab a Quick Reference Guide to the PSAT in Student Services.
