Fitness Center Closing
May 25th is the last day that the fitness center will be open after school. If you want to make up class time for Ms. Enger, Mr. Yanko or Mr. Herland it must be completed before May 25th. Do not wait until the last minute to make up your points.
Hot weather is here!
Hey, Have you seen what the weather is forecasting out to be? It will be warm this next week. This is just a reminder on what the dress code is. If you are caught violating the dress code you will be asked to call home for other clothes or put on your PE suit for the day.
*shorts or skirts should come to the student’s fingertips or lower when their arms are down to their side.
*spaghetti strap or thin strapped tank tops, halter tops, tube tops, or one shoulder tops are not allowed.
*shirts that come below the armpit in the front, side or back.
*absolutely no shirts that do not cover the student’s midriff or showing any part of your stomach.
There is a complete list of the dress code if you need it and there are no exceptions to these rules.
Library Update
The last day to check out library books this year is Tuesday May 23 and the final student due date is Friday May 26. Please make every effort to return your books as the end of the school year approaches. Any materials (library books and textbooks) not returned will be added to your student account and fines will follow you through graduation. Also, remember that when you turn in your Chromebook on June 1 – the Chromebook, case and charger will be collected. If you have any questions, please feel free to stop in the library.
16-17 Yearbook
The yearbooks will be here before the end of this month. 150 books have been ordered and 85 have already been sold. To make sure that you get your 2017 yearbook take $27 to the office.
Summer School Program
Students! Don’t forget to sign up for Summer School! Packets need to be turned in THIS week! Stop by the front office and pick up a packet.
Snack Shack
The Snack Shack will be open this Wednesday after school!
Talent Show
The annual PHOENIX TALENT SHOW will be held on the last day of school. Tryouts will be after school on Thursday, 5/25. Now is a good time to start picking and practicing your act. We are looking for variety – singers, dancers, instrumentalists, and other wacky talents! If you have any questions see Mrs. R, Ms. Engerson, or Ms. Poritz 
Muddy Maniacs Mud Run
Muddy Maniacs Adventure Mud Run – Saturday, June 24 for more information stop by the front office.
Delavan Soccer Club
Register for next year at one of these two registration dates: Tuesday, May 23rd from 5-7 pm in Phoenix Middle School’s cafeteria or Saturday, June 24th from 12-2 pm outside by Phoenix Middle School soccer fields. Please bring a parent and your current soccer uniform to registration – there is an opportunity to reuse or donate your current uniform (must be in good condition) for a discount on your registration fee.

If you have lost any small items like: headphones, jewelry, wireless mouse, headbands, glasses, hall passes, planners or money, stop by the office! We just might have it!
