Students win Foreign Language Teachers postcard contest
Big props and kudos to three Delavan-Darien School District students who won awards for the Wisconsin Association of Foreign Language Teachers Postcard Contest!
The theme of the was “Reach Beyond The Horizon” and students created an original design incorporating this theme into a postcard. The design was to emphasize the importance of language learning and learning about other cultures.
DDHS junior Michelle (Miriam) Huerta was a runner up, while Phoenix Middle School eighth graders Marissa Torres-Raby and Dia Patel received first-place awards in the contest.
The students’ designs will be made into postcards for foreign language teachers across the state of Wisconsin to use as they see fit.
Great job to our student artists and contest winners!
