School Supply Drive going on now
The Delavan-Darien School District is hosting a School Supply Drive to stock the shelves of the Comet Care Center!
Donated supplies will help out students and families in financial need. Each year, the need is great!
Donated items can be brought to the Phoenix Middle School main office at anytime the school is open (before the school year starts and even throughout the school year). Supplies will be sorted and distributed by staff so students of all ages can start off the school year on the right foot!
Needed items include backpacks, pens, No. 2 pencils, loose-leaf paper, notebooks, binders, highlighters, crayons, markers, etc.
The Comet Care Centers also accept donations of personal hygiene products (shampoo, toothpaste, deodorant, etc.), gently-used kids clothing (especially socks and undergarments), winter clothing, games, and alarm clocks. Gift cards can also be donated and staff will buy supplies on an as-needed basis.
