Yearbooks are here!
Attention Students! Yearbooks have arrived! Distribution of purchased yearbooks will be during lunch on Tuesday, May 29th! If you DID NOT pre-order a book, there are 27 books left for purchase at $27.00 each. Books can be purchased in the office. Don’t miss out on a yearbook! They will go fast!
Yearbook Etiquette
Students! Make sure to note the following:
• Yearbooks can be out before or after school for signatures.
• Yearbooks are only allowed in classes with teacher’s permission & may be confiscated if causing a distraction to the learning of others.
• If you vandalize or deface someone else’s yearbook – you will be ersponsible for buying a replacement book.
8th Grade Soccer Players!
Attention 8th Grade Boys & Girls Soccer Players! There is a sign up sheet in the office for high school soccer! Please stop by and sign up. The coaches would like to have an idea of how many players are interested in playing soccer next year.
Track Uniforms
Track uniforms must be turned in to Ms. R or be paid for ($40). Turn them in to Ms. R in the choir room ASAP or the fine will be added to your account!
Fitness Center CLOSED!
The fitness center will be closed after school for the remainder of the school year. Any student who needs to make up Phy-Ed classes should see your P.E. teacher.
Talent Show
The annual Phoenix Talent Show will be held on Monday, June 4th. Tryouts will be after school on Tuesday, 5/29. Now is a good time to start picking out and practicing your act. We are looking for variety – singers, dancers, instrumentalists, and other wacky talents! If you have any questions, see Mrs. R, Ms. Engerson, or Ms. Deck
Consequences for Wearing a Hat or Hoodie
When a student is caught wearing a hoodie or hat in school, the item is confiscated and turned into the office for safe-keeping. The consequences are as follows:
1st Offence: Student may pick it up at the end of the day.
2nd Offence: Parent must pick up the item in the office.
3rd & Subsequent Offences: Parent pick-up and student will receive an In-School Suspension.
